Cody M. Jerabek
has been a litigation and trial attorney since graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Prior to joining McKellar, Tiedeken and Scoggin, he acted as a felony criminal prosecutor for the State of Wyoming. He has acted as a trial attorney for the Albany County felony special victims unit (dealing with crimes of sexual and domestic violence) and has also served as the lead prosecutor for the felony narcotics unit. Cody has defended a wide variety of lawsuits and actions involving criminal defense, personal injury, wrongful death, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, DUI and DWI, negligence claims, insurance bad faith, officer involved shootings and other complex civil and criminal litigation. His high-level jury trial experience gives him the ability back up the positions he takes on behalf of his clients.
Cody can work on behalf of and defend individuals and corporate entities in areas of felony criminal defense, misdemeanor criminal defense, traumatic personal injury, job accidents, motor vehicle accidents, federal criminal defense, DUI and DWI, wrongful death and negligence claims, as well individuals in divorce proceedings, child custody disputes and worker’s compensation proceedings. He also represents corporations, non-profits and businesses in business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, contract and employment disputes and providing general legal counsel to corporate entities.
Cody grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he attended the University of St. Thomas, attaining Bachelor’s Degrees in Philosophy and Justice and Peace Studies. He was an NCAA All American Track and Field sprinter and Collegiate All American Rugby Player. Cody is a former professional rugby player who also played for Team USA prior to becoming an attorney.
