WILLIAM M. MCKELLAR is a partner and shareholder in the firm of McKellar, Tiedeken & Scoggin, LLC.
Mr. McKellar has worked as a trial attorney since his admission to the state bars of Wyoming and Colorado in 1982 and has served as lead counsel in over 100 civil jury trials. Mr. McKellar's litigation experience includes litigation involving fires and explosions in commercial building, personal residences and oil refineries. Mr. McKellar has represented defendants in such fire cases and has also served as plaintiff's counsel in such cases on behalf of insurance companies. Mr. McKellar's litigation experience also includes personal injury litigation relating to auto accidents, oil field accidents, property and casualty claims, insurance disability claims, insurance fraud, products liability, employment termination, civil rights, medical negligence defense, legal malpractice, declaratory judgment actions and environmental and toxic tort litigation. Mr. McKellar has served as lead litigation counsel in CERCLA and RCRA environmental litigation, in the defense of individual and corporate defendants, as well as insured and insurance companies.
Education:
Mr. McKellar received his undergraduate training at the University of Texas, at Austin, and the University of Northern Colorado, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. McKellar received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming in 1982. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Wyoming and Colorado, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. McKellar holds the rank of Advocate in the Wyoming chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is a past President of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. McKellar is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. McKellar currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and is a past President of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. McKellar is an active member of the Wyoming State Bar and the Laramie County Bar Association in which he served as President from 1990-1991
